PUBLIC RELATIONS
The purpose of the Public Relations is to improve the internal and external communications of the association, by raising awareness to our alumni, community, the city of Detroit. This includes promotion and alumni events through media ( branding, newsletter, management systems, social media platform, website, radio and television), visual, verbal and written communications, marketing of video and audio media, thereby encouraging a positive presentation of the association and its mission.
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
Meets as needed.
Mission Statement: To support the pursuit of education to those who are seriously trying to improve themselves through learning so that they can contribute these skills to the community. Purpose of Scholarship Committee: To provide scholarships for Henry Ford students who are graduating with at least a 3.0 GPA. We also provide grants to current college students who have no less than a 2.5 GPA.
NEW MEMBER FELLOWSHIP
Meetings are TBD based on growth and new members joining the association.
Mission Statement: To greet and welcome alumni members.
Purpose of Membership Committee: The membership committee records registration information for the back office and volunteer activities.
